For Bill

I would like to dedicate this image to my cousin Bill Pargeter. Billy sadly passed away last Wednesday. At the same time I was photographing a stormy day on Lake Erie. This wave is one of those images from that day. It was my cousin Billy who gave me my introduction to Lake Erie as a kid. Over the years I probably spent hundreds of hours out on the lake with him and my father. As a kid I used to be fascinated by the map of Lake Erie shipwrecks that hung on the wall of his Turkey Point cottage. I can’t thank him enough for my introduction to Lake Erie and for so many years of mentoring, teaching, coaching, life lessons and for the many great times spent on Lake Erie. Rest In Peace Billy.. your spirit will live on in Erie.. I’ll see you again at the lake someday.
